Cheratingpoint Surf School is owned by local surfer Zairil Zainal Certified ISA Surf Instructor, known as Aril, one of the pioneers of surfing in Malaysia. Aril is not only a competitive surfer but also a freelance photographer. He splits his time between Nuremberg, Germany, and Cherating, Malaysia, spending half the year in each location, with the monsoon season drawing him back to Cherating.
Our mission is to share our knowledge and experience with students eager to enjoy the best Malaysian surf adventure. We pride ourselves on being the top surf school in Cherating, offering instruction from the best surfers in town. Our local instructors will elevate your surfing skills and immerse you in the Cherating mindset and traditional Malaysian lifestyle.
